not being pedantic or anything but you do know its not frontier that is at fault with the disconnects etc. yes they dont have dedicated servers and they rely on us to have decent connections to their server type that they run and thats the problem, if you dont have a reliable connection then you will keep getting drop outs.

As of the WP3 launch last sunday i havent had a single disconnect. I did leave Omega at 1900 once i knew where to go as i didnt want to experience that issue we had on launch day on 13th, and so are so good.

They started at the DW2 launch and my internet connection is stable, so IMO it is DW2 with increased traffic, especially at and after the start from a WP. But it is not something to get me all depressed. ;)

They don't own servers to invest in, blame Amazon.
Yes I too have had some disconnects over the last week.

blame Amazon
Probably not. They have a powerful CDN and cloud datacenters infrastructure. Actually a lot of people rely on that and have many more simultaneous connections (starting with their own website), without any issue at all. FDev are to blame for their server code here, which obviously cannot scale.

As customers, it's FD that decide what size and how many servers to run.
Even assuming they have autoscaling in place, they'd be setting limits around how long system must be busy before capacity increases occur and also the upper limit - otherwise they could end up with a run away bill.
