Newcomer / Intro Fixed Pulse Lasers - please help, can't find any!!

Hi folks,
I've been flying all over the place but can't find any upgrades to my fixed pulse lasers which came with my Adder. C2 fixed pulse would be a nice start. Have seen various sites giving locations, been to all of em but still can't find any. Surely I mustn't be the only one with this problem?!!
Please help, getting frustrated here!!

Hello Ammy,
What I get on these forums is only "get yourself to high-population-high-tech systems with outfitters".
First thing first, did you check the size (class) of your weapons ? I had an adder just before my Cobra but can't remember if it's Class 1 or 2. If it's class 1 you won't be able to have better than 1F pulse lasers, I believe. But if it's Class 2 I saw nice 2C pulse turrets/gimbal/fixed around Liaedin (try LHS 3505, Volungu, 31 Aquilae...)
If you ever find something good please notify me as I'm trying to upgrade my guns too !

You have to look thoroughly through the main trading systems. Its impossible to tell which starport/system will have what in its outfitting section because the stock changes every hour. Try Aulin, Eravate .. main hubs.

Thanks a lot for the replies folks, don't feel so much on my own now!!
Ker, I'm afraid your memory serves you well - I can only use Class 1s, no wonder I couldn't find anything. On one page it lists C1 gimballed pulse lasers, will keep an eye out. Perhaps there may higher rated pulse lasers too.
Up to now, haven't been in any dogfights, thought I wouldn't have a hope!! Will upgrade my D1 cannon on my single medium hardpoint and then take the plunge!!
Best start saving for that Cobra, guessing that ship uses higher class lasers Ker?

Welp, my cobra got 2 medium and 2 small hardpoints. I guess all stock cobra do. Except the ones found on earth...

You have a better chance of getting upgraded weapons from hi-tech systems. If you use the filter on the galaxy map and select technology economies it will highlight them. Or you could just tell use what system you are near and someone will tell you. For example if you are at the started system LHS 3447 then the best weapons are at GD 219, BUT you need an upgraded FSD to get there ( not a really top line one but better than the one that comes with the ship when you buy it ) Get used to dropping into the hanger an selecting outfitting to see what is available where. It will not show you upgrade that cannot be fitted to the ship.

They don't exist.
Fixed Class 2 Pulse Lasers are ONLY available in rating E.
The people telling you to keep looking are trolling you.
