Fleet carrier abuse

Ninja'd by @Bigmaec ;)
But:
And on a completely different note, if commodities were not removed from FC's:
1) FC's would then need to be 'hurtable' but not destroyable, and lootable by other players (if allowed to store commodities), which would make the kidnapping thing alot more interesting. And I think it would remove alot of carriers from the bubble that clutter up the system maps
2) This could lead to needing a squadron or wing(s) to protect FC's as they come into a bubble system to sell the commodities, and the ability to pirate from them by other squadrons and wings, that to me is emergent gameplay
That would open up so much fun... Wouldn't it be great if a few of the largest squadrons in the game decided to go on a romp against FC's belonging to anyone but themselves - and every player in solo?
As for the slavery issue being a reason...

Do we need to remove guns from every ship as each player has the potential to be a ganker?

1) I'll like my storage on my carrier, thank you very much. And I don't extort noobs into slavery.
Ok you don't, but at least one other Cmdr did. And I am sure the copy cats and slight variations on that theme will start soon if not already have
2) what is the problem of 20k?
A player without a FC cannot compete against someone with a FC in a CG that involves cargo, unless the cargo is available in system from a different base. Zero balance there between a Cmdr with a T9 vs a Cmdr with a T9 and a FC

1) & 2) why though? just to prevent that one single extortion scheme?
No the fueling changes just make sense to me. You should not need a transfer ship on a mobile base with a crew manning it. And if commodities were removed, what to do with all that space... fill it with fuel and the ability to auto xfer it to the main fuel tank.

1) and. here. we. go. No thanks but no. see 2)
2) what does your squadron do if I attack your carrier in solo?
These ideas are for if a FC keeps commodity storage
Cry, move the FC, and go find a FC to attack for themselves !
The idea here is to create gameplay options that are not slavery
Cmdr's fill their carriers with all kinds of goodies, but since FDev didn't think this through and FC's are bases, they are immune to other players... total rubbish. Carebear SAFE SPACES these are
Hopefully the NMLA and Thargoids start taking notice of FC's as well, no SAFE SPACES for any CMDR. Remember Elite DANGEROUS and all that
Idea here is to make someone move their carrier out of the bubble so the system map is not totally spammed and hopefully alot less orange sidewinders in systems full of FC's
Not to mention it would get alot more interesting when it is time to go to the bubble to unload the mined goods, or stolen goods, etc

So what's new? It's an online game where you can buy stuff in-game for credits.
I bet this doesn't happen in Eve Online and WOW among others... Oh wait...

CCP even tried to get in on the act and legalise it by creating the Plex. That meant anyone with a fat wallet could effectively buy as much Isk as they wanted by buying Plex for RL money and selling them for Isk in-game. Since it was a player driven economy, that made ship prices skyrocket. I bought my first Absolution for around 250 million, they now cost over 2 billion Isk, more than the Freghter did when I left the game a few years ago. New players don't stand a chance with prices like that unless they want to spend a fortune selling Plexes also.
