I have a few good suggestions that I think Frontier Developments can consider for Elite Dangerous.
1. At starports, you can buy AI escort ships that when in supercruise, can be in your wing and escort you to the starport while transporting vulnerable goods.
2. You can set a setting on the Fleet Carrier so that AI and Commanders can land on it and buy or sell commodities on the market so that you can use those materials/goods to upgrade the Carrier.
3. Your personal Fleet Carrier can be rarely attacked by AI or Commanders and visually damaged on the outside. The AI or Commanders can blow up storage parts of the Carrier and take Commodities
from it.
4. To prevent this you can buy defensive weapons for your Fleet Carrier and private security ships that can defend it and guard it. You also get a urgent message that your fleet carrier is under attack and can fly over to help the fight.
5. You can tell your Fleet Carrier to orbit a planet just like starports do so that you can mine or explore in the process and refuel/drop off cargo/data so you don't have to go back to starports which often wastes time.
6. You can hunt wanted Commanders for large amounts of credits in certain missions for bounty hunting.
7. At starports you can spend a large amount of credits on AI guns for hire that can be in your wing while you go to dangerous places. You can select the type of ship they use and the level the AI person is for combat.
8. You can set up your carrier so that it could be your own mobile trade centre where AI and Commanders can sell and buy commodities and for each sale, a percentage of the money traded goes to you to make a profit from it.
9. Your Fleet Carrier has its own internal bank system and a percentage of what you earn from everything goes to the Carrier for fuel and power usage.
