Fleet Carrier Bug?/Required Change

As it stands right now , selling a commodity on your carrier is pretty simple , click the button , set the price and off you go. However this is where the issue starts so ill try to explain the issue.

You have 10 biowaste
You set your FC to sell biowaste
You sell all 10 biowaste
The sell order dissapears

Now at this point you might think its done but it isnt...... if at any point you place biowaste into your carrier the sell order will automatically start up again without telling you anything about it (unless you check your commodity market sell window) , this is fine imo because it helps those using their carriers as a sell platform, however whilst there is no stock of biowaste in your carrier the commander has no idea that the sell order is still technically active, even checking the managment page shows that you arent selling biowaste and you cant stop the hidden sell order until you place biowaste into the carrier again.

The bug?/change i think would be good for all is to let the commander know what they are selling even when they dont have stock of that item (you can see what active exports you have in the first carrier managment window under commodities but not what you are exporting).

With the game having alot of different items to sell on their fleet carriers making sure this information is clearly displayed to the commander is pretty important , a simple "green triangle" next to any item the commander is currently exporting regardless of stock levels would be perfect.

(the reason this isnt a ticket is because i dont know if its a bug or a oversight and to be fair it wouldnt get enough votes to be noticed imo) hopefully here atleast someone might see it.

Interesting thread.
My problem is that I can't set a buy or sell order. I probably need a pictorial, not a video of instruction.
I see where a comment says "Press the button"
But where is the button?
Get my drift? I need to be told exactly where the button is and on what page or menu or screen.

Carrier Management screen, Commodity Trading (4th icon down on the left, has a pic of a cargo cannister on it), click the big 'Manage Market' button at the bottom of that menu.

In the Commodities Market screen that opens up, scroll to the commodity you want to buy or sell, click anywhere on that line to open the 'Manage' pop-up screen. Tick the 'Trade this Commodity' tick box, select buy or sell, select a price and if you chose buy, select a minimum stock.

Once done, if you go to your carrier's commodity market you can check it's done what you wanted it to do.

Its been 2 years and still couldnt find which commodity it is. I nearly created a market request (buy or sell) to all the commodities. Then cancel them. Still it shown as 1 active exports. Even if we dont have enough ammount of commodity to sell it, carrier management tab has to show us which one is it.

Was this ever resolved?
Have had 4 active exports for ever, tried the above workaround with no results other than an inclination to keep docking to friends only just in case.

Open market, I mean for every commodity. Then close it by one by. I resolved it by doing that.

What I would like as a solution is the ability to set the number of items you want to sell. Once the number of items have been sold the selling order is removed. If you want to sell more you need to set up another sell order (which doesn't take long).

It solves the OP's issue and it also allows the owner to retain stock if they wish for themself.

For example you fill up your Fleet Carrier with 10,000 gold for the (current) CG. You want to sell 5,000 gold to the CG yourself but you also want to sell 5,000 to your friends so they can sell at the CG, therefore you set the sell order to 5,000. At the moment when you set up a sell order all 10,000 gold is available to buy and therefore it relies on the trust of your friends (or the ability to do the maths correctly.
