I don't seem to be able to move my carrier to a specific body within a system, is this a bug, by design or me being blind?
Also, can you please check if you can jump while docked? Last time (the only time since) I did that I got a CTDI'll get on in a moment and move one of mine (or try) between bodies and get back to you.![]()
Interesting - maybe it's removed only when you jump to a different system then? I just couldn't see the option unless the UI misled me (by that I mean I'd expect a similar button like we have for Apex now, the yellow "choose destination" one, when in system map).I've just set my FC destination for the body next to where it is currently parked and it was accepted, just have to wait 15 minutes to see if it jumps!
Cheers Ratty. I'll probably jump on (hur hur) later today but am almost hesitant now to use my FC for any longer trips (I usually stay docked) - although remote jumping did work at least in general.I'll let this jump compete (I'm out of game as last time I stayed online it did CTD) then look to set my destination to my normal parking place (Marici's lava body!) and drop back again with the result.

On longer trips, as there is always 20+ minutes between jumps, I'll remote jump the FC and use DBX / AspX to 'explore' the distance between jumps, it normally pays for upkeep... On the trips that need a tank refill I'll meet the FC, change into T-9 and transfer Tritium then rinse and repeat the shadowing of the FC jumps.Cheers Ratty. Yeah I think that makes sense for exploration trips for sure (unless you want to use the 'autopilot' - not even sure if that already works in EDO haven't paid attention to the Discord for a while). It's just a bit of a bummer when moving between Coalsack/Bubble/Pleiades as I tend to go AFK for 15 mins and don't have to jump/scoop/jump for 10-15 mins. It may be worth just exiting to menu - I've not tried that yet. It's just a bit of a bummer when moving between Coalsack/Bubble/Pleiades as I tend to go AFK for 15 mins and don't have to jump/scoop/jump for 10-15 mins. Oh well.

This is normal, which may be when the databases are being written to. Ihas been that way since I bought mineInterestingly, you're not allowed back in at that point until the jump completes.
Yeah I remember that from prior experience. Either way it's not exactly like you're missing much other than staring at a wallLast two times I exited to the menu when the jump countdown reached 2 mins.

Ok that's good to know - maybe the UI threw me off, I'll log in shortly and see - when you're in the Galmap the big yellow "choose destination" box appears, I think when I click that the jump is set - I wonder do I need to ignore that and go into the Sysmap first (because with Apex it would actually open the Sysmap at that point). Maybe that's the problem.@ObiW - In system jump completed successfully, just plotted to Marici so another 15 minutes...
You may have just had a little game hiccup, it happens.

When the "set" button appears, do exactly what you suggested, click the little sysmap button and select the body - that works.Ok that's good to know - maybe the UI threw me off, I'll log in shortly and see - when you're in the Galmap the big yellow "choose destination" box appears, I think when I click that the jump is set - I wonder do I need to ignore that and go into the Sysmap first (because with Apex it would actually open the Sysmap at that point). Cool. Just another case of inconsistent UI then. Regarding bookmarks, it does work if you go through the Manage Bookmarks section (don't ask) - I already developed certain muscle memory to this regard. Only to relearn it when/if they eventually fix it.When the "set" button appears, do exactly what you suggested, click the little sysmap button and select the body - that works.
It is a shame that jumping to a bookmark is quite so long-winded in the 'new' map - my Marici parking spot is bookmarked...
Interesting, I was able to move one of my FCs earlier today to orbit a planetary body. Were you given an error message? Also, had you given the FC the 5 minutes or so cooldown from the last jump before plotting the new one?I click on a planet within a system but my fleet carrier won't go there. I got back after buying the bar but can't move to a planet with an orbiting station where all my other ships are parked.
