Mine are rather modest. Load the fleet and all my modules. Park near a tourist site within a couple thousand light years of the bubble. Figure I may get a few repair/restock/refuels from day trip site seers. Otherwise I will explore that area and look for good mining in that area. Once the cargo is full or I get board jump back to the bubble and sell off. I plan to use this as an opportunity to go back to strip mining in pristine metallics, or at least mix that with core mining. I'm a little leary of immediately heading out into the deep black. I'm curious to see if larger groups setup some sort of rest stops along the route to Colonia or SAG A. Also curious to see where tritium yields/prices land.
Fleet Carrier Plans?

My plans are similar. I'll probably stick around the bubble for awhile using the FC to assist with regular activities. And if I decide to make changes to my services a "carrier admin" system will be nearby.
Similar. I have designated a part of my fleet as the carrier detachment. I'll buy the carrier, bring those on board, along most of my modules. Then I'll park it on one of our faction's systems for half a month or so. If there are enough interested squadron members and friends, and if I can get enough tritium sold to me, I'll give them a trip to Colonia. Otherwise I'll go straight to Cat's Paw Nebula and use the carrier as a base camp for mapping the surrounding region.
I am planing on doing a long range travel. Probably going to Colonia and maybe further to Sag A. On the way I will try exploring in my iCourier.
I was thinking, I might very well start stripping out the fuel scoops out of some of my ships... my fleet carrier will always be close at hand, possibly in the same system. Some of my ships will no longer need the added security of a fuel scoop.
Get used to it in the bubble, then go on a little jaunt using it as a base.

Fun idea, but FC cannot jump to permit locked systems.
I think I'll dip my toes back into anti-xeno combat. The carrier will make repairs much easier.
My plan is simple. Park carrier in a system near the Shinrarta system after installing rearm, repair an refuel sevices. Use it as storage for Thargoid samples, hearts, probes, sensor and link. Store some Guardian items and mission only reward commodities. Will be using commodity market for fast transfers as the carrier to ship transfer is slow, so noone will have landing access to take my stuff.
Not to hijack, but can you store Hearts? What about rares? (To store, not to sell)
As far as I know, only rare commodities and power play stuff can't be stored.
Oh. I wanted to grab a mug and keep it on my carrier "as a keepsake". Glad we can store Hearts though, they will be placed on my trophy wall... lol
Those damaged space stations are going to be fixed a lot faster once those involved get their carriers.
I did a number of runs for Operation IDA in the past, now armed with a fleet carrier I may join up for the cause once again! Good thinking!
Is the carrier storage (Tharg stuff) corrosive resistant?
Good question, not sure. I'm going to say since Carriers cant be damaged, it might be safe?
My plan is to plot the route the farthest I can and then curse my life during mining Tritium for another months till Odyssey will drop and make me come back to the Bubble
