Fleet Carrier Stranded and needing Tritium

As the title states I have been stranded on my return to the bubble my ships can not go mine anymore as these systems are all permit locked around me. The Milano is currently stranded in outotz bg-c b14-0 and has no tritium left, I am requesting 1500t tritium and have a market price set at 100,000 credits/ton. I have been trying to mine but the grind has been so slow and tedious since this update. If any carriers in the bubble are willing to transport fuel it would be greatly appreciated and rewarded! Thank you cmdrs please help the crew of the milano!

Despatch tanker to nearest Tritium store, there may be a FC nearby, or to the nearest station selling Tritium?

Perhaps you should contact the Fuel Rats

the fuel rats won't help you, i can't recall exactly where (but it was somewhere on the fuel rats subreddit) that they have already decided to NOT help refuel a carrier due to the costs involved.
as for someone trucking trit out to you... well... 100K/ton is far to low and Captain Willard is correct, it will be far less of a loss to decommission and recommission a carrier then to pay for trit trucked out to you, voluntary decommissioning costs 125M out of the refund price, trucking trit will cost you probably close to 500M (tritium + jumps + time + "trucker needs a reason to go out into the black on a long trip").

Do you have some kind of cargo ship on your carrier, or parked somewhere that you can ship transfer it to you? You're less than 1500 LY from the Witch Head sector. Plenty of Tritium available at the refinery system there.

Also, you're aware of the FC route plotter here? Unless you're extremely heavily loaded, you really shouldn't need 1500 Tritium to get back to someplace you can buy more at normal market prices.

Think we're going to see alot more of this going down. What with the rarity of tritium from mining since nerf.
Rp wise decommissioning is surely not an option?
Does the cmdr have a cargo cutter.
If so modify to jump further and lots of shields no weps for jump range. Grab 600+ ton wherever is closest 2 runs should do it. Get him back to within a good distance to fuel up.?
That's what I'd do.

if you don't have a cutter, a type 9 will also do if you don't mind the accompanying space insanity magnet that is its frameshift drive, you can get 784 cargo and still have SCA and ADC (advanced docking computer)

of course, if you would rather have some poor trucker haul trit out to you i would do it for 50K per lightyear i travel to get to you plus to get back to my starting point in addition to the cost of the trit @ 75M
so 150K per lightyear + 150M flat trit fee, battery jumping service extra at 100M, window washing and oil checking also extra @ 250M.

total cost breakdown:
3880 LY @ 100K/LY = 582.0M
Tritium 1500T = 150.0M
Subtotal = 732.0M
Emergency Service Tax @ 10% = 73.2M
Grand Total = 805.2M
Unlimited Cookies = Complementary

Thank you for choosing Cookie Smuggler Emergency Carrier Fuel Service for your price quote, we hope you have a nice day and look forward to providing your emergency fuel

Before you scream "what the F! thats extortion!", the explanation is, you need a service, i can provide that service, because i don't see anyone else offering to provide that service i have a monopoly on said service, therefore i can charge as i please, thank Space Capitalism for allowing this, if you chose to decline, your loss of tritium, the offer will stand until you move your carrier or find some other source of fuel.

That's what I'd do.

Basically you do one run then jump 500ly, that cuts 1000ly off the round trip for the next run of fuel. As you are running to the depot for the next lot just do a smaller jump to use up the remaining fuel, every little bit cut off the journey will help.

Actually, 100k per ton is pretty much a break-even price for the rescue (for me, at least), assuming buying Tritium at the Galactic Average.

As things stand with my carrier right now, it would take me about 980 tons to get to you, which at the galactic average of 45,875 credits per ton (since I'd want to replace this Tritium later) is about 45m. Then if I sold you 1,500 tons at 100k, again replacing that at the average, that works out as 54,125 credits per ton "profit", i.e. about 81m.

But then I'd have not only 980 tons less Tritium once there, I'd also have 1,500 tons less after selling it to you, so the trip back to the bubble would take less, about 878 tons, which works out as about 40m to replace.

So to end up with the same amount of Tritium as I have now, I'd spend about 85m replacing the fuel cost incurred, and profit from selling 1,500t to you now and buying it back later would be 81m.

To put in another way, a "break-even" price for me to sell you 1,500 tons of Tritium is about 102,700 credits per ton, which isn't far off the 100k offered.

Have i missed something?

The cmdrs suggesting the decom option are just trolling. The numbers are complete fudge

The also skip over the waiting times tied to a carrier decommission request and ship/module transfers

Ah well, others beat me to it, no buy order left. Good to see help is available when it's needed, though, I saw two other carriers in the system (apart from the OP's) when I arrived.

Safe travels Hbomb. o7
