Fleet Carriers on Galaxy Map?

In Horizons there was definitley an option to show fleet carrier locations on the Galaxy Map.
Is it missing/disabled in Odyssey?
There's a toggle in the 'Display' section 'Show Fleet Carrier Markers' but as far as I can tell it doesn't do anything....
Am I perhaps misunderstaning? Or maybe it doesn't do anything?
I'm in the middle of the Colonia region at the minute so I know there are tons of them around me right now.

I believe that was one of the functionalities of the Horizons GUI that FDev decided we could do without in Odyssey. If they actually fixed that or changed anything in that department, it has slipped by me unnoticed.

This would be a great feature when out exploring the depth of space and locating nearest FC.

I used to use that filter to highlight systems that had carriers on the galaxy map - tiny yellow dots back then in Horizons.
I have not tried to use it in Odyssey - but it would be nasty if it does not work or does not exist

We mentioned its disappearances during the alpha. AFAIK it never was acknowledged and it doesn't seem to be high priority.

I haven't missed it much until now that I am out in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the Galaxy. Been just using eddb and inara to find the closest and that seems to work fine unless they've decided to move somewhere.

Yes its been missing/broken in odyssey. At horizons works as intended, but not in odyssey.
