I was on my way to having 2 billion in the bank when I paused and starting playing a different game. Aside from the fact you can park all your ships on the FC what is the benefit? I do a little mining and a lot of combat. Not sure how that would change with a FC.The cost to purchase and maintain a FC is just fine, they are not meant for everyone, some of us can put in the time to make it work, others can't or refuse to.

Combat: Park the carrier right next to the CZ, no matter how deep inside the system, refuel, repair, restock with minimal downtime.
