The new galactic average prices should be much more reflective of the actual prices you'd see across the galaxy. Primarily this will mean that Fleet Carrier owners have more reasonable upper and lower limits for each commodity they'd like to trade.

A Average is a Average thats simple math how can it be changed? And + / - 1000% stays the same lol, whatever you mean only think i can think of is FD Average is not a real Average
 
Not without them taking action and dishing out a bunch of bans as well as deleting the credits gained through the exploit.
They can easily backtrack who actively participated in this exploit using their API, lets see if they actually bother to.
If people effectively cheat themself 20bil in a single day and get away with it, im done with this game.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe it was possible to earn 20 billion in a day from the SSD exploit. (Unless it was possible to earn like 16-17 billion to start with, I dunno)

I tested it once, out of curiosity (not interested in big bucks -- got a carrier I feed hand-to-mouth and I like it that way), and it was only marginally more efficient than just searching for SSDs the normal way, and a lot more boring

You had to relog, which placed you at a distance above the rocks and you had to fly back to it every time, or you had to asre around with a fighter (more efficient but still using up some cargo space). It was obviously advantageous or people wouldn't have done it, but I struggle to see how it was a billions-scale money printer. You still had to actually mine the rock. Subsurface deposits are common anyway, there's not much difference between relogging at one rock or just flying till you see the next one, and searching for them is part of the fun to me. Exploits are simply not a fun way to play.

So yeah, glad it's patched, but I don't think the exploiters' excess earnings (made at the expense of their own enjoyment) are anything worth getting officious about.
 
Looks like the disappearing trit bug didn’t get fixed. Lost over 2,000t on a trip out to Colonia. Some problem with selling trit to ship to transfer into the fuel tank. Why you couldn’t just transfer it direct I don’t know! Would have been simpler all round.
 
We could have done, but it wouldn't have contained any information on what was changing.
It would have been nice to have been forwarned as collectively (some of) the forum community and players in general have been banging their collective heads against the wall of silence that has greeted the raft of problems, especially the loss of items bought with ARX.. very poor customer support/feedback/communication. But many thanks to the team for addressing the bugs and problems.... we can always 'assume' but to know is better .... next time? o7

I believe FDev can set an "average" price that in-game prices will then cluster around. There are different types of average as well... mean, median, mode...
 
it did cancel but after the timer ran down.

Yep, just saw that.

So just to let anyone that sees this know, if you plot a jump with your carrier and you try to cancel it, you will have to wait the full 15 minutes for the jump to cancel, then plot it again and wait a further 15 minutes.

Good God.
