So this is a thing now:
The Beluga Liner and Cobra Mk IV can no longer be selected in the Livery unless the player has the Horizons DLC.

Does that mean that if you buy one of these ships, and want to customize it with cosmetics.... you must also 'pay' for the DLC???.

What a crappy tactic to force some stragglers to buy your DLC if they don't already have it.
The Cobra MKk IV was a preorder exclusive for Horizons expansion on PC (there was some way to get it on Xbox, none on PS4 afaik).
The Beluga Liner can only be bought if you have Horizons.

So yes, you need to have the DLC to customize the ships you can only buy if you have the DLC.

As an avid Viper pilot I'm happy to hear the landing gear clipping has been fixed.

Oh, and the line about NPC miners having more appropriate cargo is very promising, at least for those considering the Pirate career path.

Haha stop making a mountain over a mole hill. If a player is going to buy cosmetics then I'm pretty sure they will have already bought Horizons. You are starting an argument over 0.01% of the player base who buy cosmetics but not Horizons. Lmao

I will point out any tactic used to force a player base to purchase something just to use something else, in any game....

Hmm. At least some bugfixes. If those are actually more fixes than new bugs, then this patch actually can rank in the "better than nothing" cathegory.

Some good ones in there:
Fixed a bug which caused Landing Gear/Cargo Hatch to visibly clip into the cockpit.
Added option to directly enter the number of credits to transfer to Fleet Carriers budget.
Squadron bookmarks made for a Fleet Carrier location now move with the Carrier when it jumps.
Added the Fleet Carrier Administration Service to more star systems near Colonia.
Added a fix to stop starport interiors from picking up light from stars.
Fixed the visible line in the Millky Way.
Sub-Surface Mining Deposits can now eject multiple resource chunks from one successful hit.
Added in a fix for Multicrew players being disconnected after dropping out of Supercruise.
Fixed a disconnect issue that could occur when attempting to accept two Multicrew invites.
Players can now block any player, not just friends or pending friends.

in particular caught my eye.

Thanks, Stephen and the team. Can't wait to get stuck into this. This has brought the game to a completely different level. o7

“Added the ability to queue for CQC matchmaking from in-game. When you find a match you will be prompted to join.”

Niiiice! My favorite update from this lot :)

Sorry, I guess I didn't read it carefully, but I can't see it in the description:
1. Will the FC be visible in all modes even on consoles ?
2. FC cannot be destroyed or partially damaged ?

"Corrected some misleading mission text which implied that Retreat Missions would help a Faction leave a system, which was the exact opposite of what was happening. These now indicate that Retreat Missions might prevent a retreat. "

We are sending tickets since more one year about that...

Read again, but slowly this time.

Both ships require Horizons-ownership.

Well you could argue that allowing the user to view the product they can add to a product they do not have access to, until they purchase the DLC i is actually the evil "puppy dog sales" trick, and FD have not fixed it.

Cheers

The Beluga is a Horizons only ship from the start, and the Cobra 4 is restricted to tpeople who pre-ordered horizons (don't worry, you're not losing out on much),
