Flying without a re-buy is something we've all done once or twice, and something we all know not to do.

Happy the OP had enough, plus the loan, to get most of his ship back.

Question : If you take the loan, aren't you STILL flying without a rebuy ?

Kinda, but you spawn at a station luckily I was able to change a few things to get another one

I still wish kinda that insurance wasn't a thing or perhaps something that is removed once you reach a certain asset/credit rating or rank. All these years I didn't know there was a loan either .. could be removed I think.

Get blowed up

Fly something cheaper for a while to build up reserves again.

You'll never have to worry about how much you can borrow
