D
- Pulse Lasers (gimballed)
- Multicannons (gimballed)
- Shock mines
- Seeker missiles

Cheers.

1) Long range or efficient
2) Efficient or overcharged
3) Wouldn't touch with bargepole, but high capacity
4) You guessed it; high capacity

This.
Long range lasers is more useful depending on your ship and situation.
I use it to tag distant targets so they come to me. And damage runners.

High capacity missile is a must. Unless you plan to dock every 5 minutes or carry umpteen million materials to reload. Lol

- Pulse Lasers (gimballed) - G1 Long range or G5 focused.
- Multicannons (gimballed) - Overcharged or Rapid fire.
- Shock mines - No opinion, I don't use mines.
- Seeker missiles - Class 1, high capacity. Class 2, Light weight to save power and weight (doh!) or sturdy to reduce heat.

Cheers.

Aye. Unless you've tried long range lazors, you don't tend to realise how much damage you lose beyond 1km. I slapped a huge G1 fixed long range beam on my iCutter and it's delicious to watch shields melt from 4km away.

from that list i only use gimbled MC, with high ammo and corrosive to compliment the rest of the build.

Rapid fire m/cs are pointless since their 'balancing' - similar dps to o/charged, but you run out of ammo much quicker & iirc, they also overheat with sustained use (I might be wrong about this, as I replaced all of mine with o/charged after the nerf *cough* I mean balance pass! a long time ago)

Would go full dmg with Pulses and MCs since they wont build up heat or drain your power
Pulses: Efficiency
MCs: Overcharged (and take corrosive on one of them)

Nah man, you got it right first. The devs hit Rapid Fire with the nerf bat so hard, a shockwave of Technetium and Precipitated Alloys was launched screaming into the void to echo for all eteRNGity.

I just bung efficient mod's on almost all my lasers and MC's.

Provides a useful advantage, improves thermal loads and means you never end up with power issues as a result of weapon requirements which you then have to go and change again.
It also means you can often get away with a size smaller PP which offers longer jump range, less time fuel-scooping, better agility and smiles all around.
