And well, I'm just a player of a video game that works fine for my purposes.

Do I expect any of my games to be completely bug free, or to have any tiny flaw patched out immediately? Ah, no. If I did then I'd have no games left to play. Sure some stuff is occasionally a bit annoying, but eh - if I could play the unpatched version of FFE for 2 years, (it took a while to get a hold of a copy of a games magazine that shipped with a floppy with the ah, 1.04 patch I think, and then later the uhm... 1.06 patch I guess...) then I have absolutely no issues with Elite Dangerous in its current form.

At least we get patches now.

And it beats waiting 3 years for a possible reply from David Braben on alt.fan.elite...
