Ah okay, I somehow ended up in the mobile version of the site on my PC... No wonder it was such a pain to navigate... the theme I ended up with was designed for a touch screen! All fixed now though.
When I'm on my desktop and laptop PC's, it looks like how it's always been (how it's looked like since last year). When I go on this forum on my Samsung S5 no matter what browser I use, it's messed up! I'd prefer if Frontier revert the mobile version back to how it is. The way this site was formatted originally, is perfect.
This forum site (except for the new mobile version), is far superior to Xbox forums site, which is a total mess with pages on a Microsoft (the world's biggest software company) which take ages to load and show. And no it's not my ISP (Vodafone NZ high speed). Microsoft just doesn't care about their own Xbox forum site. That's why not many people/regulars go there. I've vowed to not use the Xbox forums again and mentioned to others on that site I wouldn't be returning, at least not any time soon.

No changes have been made to the mobile theme since the installation of our forums.

I viewed the link on my laptop, and it appears fine. Just a lighter colour background which I don't mind. But when I load the page on my phone, it's not formatted very well. My phone received the new version last week I think cause I regularly visit this site when I'm out. I sometimes wish websites loaded the full versions of their sites on phones. But I take it screen size may be an issue. My Galaxy S5 has a decent screen size @ 1080p resolution and a quad core processor.
EDIT: I just came back to this site this evening on my laptop, and NOW it's loading the new format (white-ish background). It still has the game theme picture at the top which I like. Maybe it takes a while to load out since I'm in NZ? My phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It's OS has prompted for a system software update, but I don't want to do it, as many on android have commented some issues when they update the S5 which is why I don't want to do it.

So I just discovered there is more than one theme. [haha] The starry night one looks amazing! But on mobile, at least for me, this site doesn't load as expected. I have an Apple Iphone 5s.
When I load the site on my mobile device, it appears it doesn't load any of the available themes. This is how it looks like:
I can scroll to the bottom and click on the 'Full Site' button to load the desktop version of the site with the standard Planet Coaster theme. Unfortunately my phone's screen is too small to properly navigate without excessive zooming. It looks like this:
I can then scroll again to the bottom of the side, and when I select the mobile theme, it loads the proper theme and I can use the site, like this:
This site has always done this. The only way for me to get the proper mobile vesion is to follow the steps I just mentioned.

Hey Chems,
Does the mobile theme stay as it should be once it is displayed correctly, or does it's appearance change back to the incorrect way it looks when you first switch to this theme?
I have an iPhone as well and I'm using the same mobile browser, but I have never experienced issues with the mobile theme for myself.
The mobile theme has always had issues, it's common to any vBulletin site with the same bugged mobile theme, you are better to use one of the standard themes or the wide mobile theme.
It does stay on the mobile theme but I thought it was still worth mentioning since I only found out today that I could change it.. [tongue] But I am happy it's fixed for now and I can browse the forums when I'm not at a PC!
I don't know why, but all my new tabs changed to the mobile theme a few mins ago (I'm using my computer).
I had to click on "Full Site" and it's like before now.
I have no idea how that happened and why it changed - I just opened a few new tabs.[weird]
