Found something odd and Thargoid Sensor Fragments in the Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm

So I've been out on a mission exploring and making my way gradually to the galactic centre via the Outer Orion Spur and recently while in the Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm I came across a very weird planet.

The planet is EIDAIH SF-M D8-306 1 and is a High Metal Content world with metallic rings, and oddly, when I first checked it out on the FSS, ethereal music started playing which I've not noticed before with any other planet in the game. It also had rainbow coloured rings (which may just be a graphical bug, I've read that it sometimes occurs) but I went to check it out because of the strange music from the FSS screen.

Lo and behold, when I did a detailed surface scan, three non-human signals popped up, so I landed and took a look at one of them and it turned out to be a crashed Thargoid thingammyjig with a Thargoid Sensor Fragment lying nearby.

I have no idea if this is relevant to anything wider in the game or not, but thought I'd better share it with everyone. My Commander name is Lazarus G Kent.

So, question time:

Ethereal music from HMC worlds; does it happen often and I've just missed it, or is it only when there's metal-rich rings (not found the same effect around rocky ringed hmcs so far). Therefore was it just a really lucky coincidence that I happened to pick up on it this once and there also happened to be something alien down there?

Or is the ethereal music a sort of hint that there's something a bit special on that particular world and therefore something to keep an ear out for in future?

P.S. when visiting the planet I'd advise taking a small ship as the surface is incredibly broken and would be tricky to land on in something larger. Also take a steady approach as it's 2.4G.

Let me know what you think folks!

if the ethereal music is that piano thingy, yes it happens on the regular when on a surface "not doing much". always an impressive moment for me.

If I'm not mistaken, then what you found was one of the semi-permanent Odyssey surface POIs, that change every day on the server tick. The Non-Human Signals have been reported from most of the galaxy, and if memory serves, usually from systems that have Gas Giants with Ammonia Life or Ammonia Worlds.
You could take a look tomorrow just to be sure, but I think it fits your description completely.

As for the music: did it match any of the ones here? They've historically been played when you look at the planet on the system map, I don't know if they get played in the FSS or not. (Mostly because I zoom in and out well before I'd notice anything playing.)
