When you have done a jump or been interdicted, or interdicted someone. it take a little while for the frame shift drive to recharge and when the FSD is rdy that text will pop up.
You will also se a small spinning blue wheel a bit under your fuel gauge when the FSD is recharging.

I occasionally - and for no discernable reason - randomly get this Message on all my combat ships.
FSD is Prio 2 and on some Ships might be disabled in combat due to Power Management, but there'd be no reason to ever get this Message while Hardpoints remain deployed and no Power Supply/Demand changes occur.
IMHO it's a bug.
Ahh now heres the fly in the ointment, I get that same message when I'm sun scooping. well after my ship is charged. I get a few times if I'm scooping slowly.
This is not a bug, from my experience. I have been seeing this message since beta. I am going to reiterate, and hopefully people read it this time, what I said before. This message is referring to your target's frame shift drive status. It appears when their ship's FSD recovers from a malfunction or is returned to operational (repair or power disabled) status. At least, from my experience, this is what it means. It may be buggy, but that's what I understand it to mean.
I get the same thing too, and my FSD is definitely offline due to power issues (Vulture!).I occasionally get this message during combat. Can someone tell me why?
Shields are 98-100%, I have 99% power usage and FSD is priority 1.
Nope, this type of central, large Font message you only get for Modules of your own Ship.
Any Target's Ship status will be given voice-only, with the only exception of "Surge Detected" in small Font below the Target's Status.
And "Frameshift online" (or Offline for that matter) of a locked Target is not triggering any such Display or Voice Msg. You'd have to manually check your Target's SubSystems to find out...

That's obviously my Cannon that malfunctioned - not the Target's one, if it even carried one (which is doubtful)...
Would be insanely confusing otherwise anyway![]()
