Franchise mode - extremely slow animal market buttons

Hey guys,

Franchise mode for me is almost unplayable because of how unresponsive the buttons are in the animal market. I have to click an animal about 20 times before the info panel pops up. Then I have to click the Buy button another 20 times before the animal is mine (and usually it's no longer listed, since it's taken so long for me to see and buy the animal). Then there's moving the animal to the enclosure - open the panel, click another 10 times before it lets me select the animal, then move them one by one into their enclosure.

My internet is super fast, so I don't know why the animal market is so unbearably slow and the buttons just pretend I don't exist. It's so frustrating! I only play campaign and sandbox, but I'd like to play Franchise too. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, you're not alone these are known problems (both the unresponsive buttons and not being able to multiselect the animals). As kind of a work around for the endless clicking try to click on the button once to selcet it and if it doesn't work the first time press enter instead of clicking again, it's not ideal but usually does the trick.

Click the outer sides of the buttons and everything works with one click. You just need to find the sweet spot that responds directly when you click :) I've done this since the beginning and everyhing responds here with 1 click

Sadly i still can't select multiple habitat animals
That is still a thing that isn't fixed :( in all the modes and even exhibit tradecentre in franchise you can multiselect animals.. only the animal tradecentre in franchise is the one that still has that bugg :(
Quite annoying when you buy for example 20 flamingo's, and you need to send them to your zoo one by one with the tradingcentre closing after every animal you've moved. In all the other modes you can send the animals all at once to the habitat. Same thing for releasing animals.

That doesn't always work either. I've had it for for a while then that too stopped. It just got too frustrating to try to 'find the sweet spot'. I hope they figure this out, I'd like to play franchise from time to time.

It drives me nuts. I've yet to find the "sweet spot", and end up spamming the button. I love franchise mode, but this is annoying.

That is odd, I use this method since I've started playing in december, and it always works..

But, I hope this issue gets fixed soon, since it needs to work when you click on any spot on the button :)

I have the same issue. Sometimes on the first click, everything goes well, sometimes it takes me almost a thousand click to be able to buy an animal and then put it in quarantine... The whish to have shared zoo is stronger than the bother, but really I already yelled and cursed way too much at this for a calm and patient girl 😅

Thanks for the tips and reassurance that it’s not just me! I’ll try clicking around the edges, or hitting the enter button. I hope it makes a difference until it’s properly fixed.

Sometimes the animal market doesn't even show up when I click it. I have to click my trade animals, then the market, then my animals, then the market, etc. Around the 5th time the animal market shows up

The market has been an issue since launch, unfortunately. If it isn't registering your click, try pressing the space button. That always does the trick for me.

I recently find the market much improved, which might be related to the fact that I had my internet setup repaired (connected via a broken port in the building). This seems to indicate that your internet speed and the routing from your end to Frontier’s servers is important, and there might not be a lot Frontier can do to change that at their end.

The market seems to slow down, the longer you use it in one go. So closing it and coming back might help. Also, pressing Enter after clicking on a UI item works for everything except for the selection of a specific animal to check its stats. But filters or purchases work without problem using the Enter key.
