Frankly, Frontier, I'm disappointed.

I remember that, it was because of that incident with "The Lost Wind," right?
An Anaconda-class freighter that was stuck for months around a barren planet. Low on water, out of rations and fuel, the crew had to survive on Cheddar cheese. By a curious twist of fate, every member of the The Lost Wind were lactose intolerant.

<nerdglasses>
So pretty much everyone could eat Cheddar then! Great! (Since any hard cheese contains little to no lactose)

I agree.

Think of the game play opportunities Frontier. Cheese has so many different varieties. We could have a mission to deliver Stilton to Lembava, a camembert to Sol, a nice bit of wensleydale to Sirius.

Now that would be fun.

It's been years.

Y E A R S

Years since I first brought it up.

I had hoped Beyond would finally answer my prayers.

BUT NO!

Where is the CHEESE, Frontier?!

Where is it! I want to become a cheesemonger! It's my dream! ;-;

Plz.
Damn straight! A universe without cheese is an empty and meaningless one indeed. And we want cake to go with the coffee!

I have footage of Dom actually sourcing the cheese for the upcoming Stinking Bishop update 4.0

Anybody fancy making an Elite: Dangerous Rare Items meat Pizza? Then this is what you will need (all the items in bold are Rare Items).

A Rujukru Multi-Stove (if you are in a hurry, or catering for a large group of people, you may want more stoves).

For the cheese you will want some rennet, Azure Milk, and Thrutis Cream. Put 1 teaspoon of rennet, 1 pint of Azure Milk, and 1/4 pint Thrutis Cream into the multi-stove, and select the 'Cheese' option from the menu list. As the stove is highly versatile it will produce the cheese within half an hour.

For the dough flour blend equal amounts of Diso Ma Corn and HR 7221 Wheat, and then grind it to a fine flour. Mix in a small amount of salt (half teaspoon per pound of flour) and yeast (one teaspoon per pound of flour), and continue mixing for a minute (to even out the blend). Add in a splash of olive oil and some Azure Milk, and then knead until you have a soft dough. Using the proven technique, stretch the dough until it is ready as a pizza base. Spread some tomato paste evenly across the base.

Following the PVM rule of pizzas (Pepperoni, Vegetables, Meat) place fine slices of HIP 10175 Bush Meat onto the pizza, and then any suitable vegetables (some pizza aficionados have found that Eden Apples of Aerial work well on the pizza), followed by some finely sliced Witchhhaul Kobe Beef and Sanuma Decorative Meat. Sprinkle some grated cheese onto the pizza. Place in the multi-stove, set to 'Pizza' and within 10 minutes you will be 'enjoying' one of the most expensive pizzas you will ever eat.

If you want the pizza to be spicy you will also need some Ocheng Chillies (be careful, you will only need one finely chopped chilli per four person pizza) and some Tarach Spice (this is not as hot, but is very flavoursome). Some people also like mushrooms on their pizza, and for this I would recommend 1/1000 Mulachi Giant Fungus (as the name suggests, these are quite large. In wet weather it is possible for 3 or 4 people to shelter under one mushroom!).

Disclaimer. Barring the animals that died to produce the meat, no animals were harmed in the making and testing of this pizza recipe. However, one of the test chefs added a few extra ingredients, and is currently in a specialist isolation ward at Jameson Memorial, Shinrarta Dezrha, where he is consuming large amounts of the "Waters of Shinrarta". Medical specialists do not yet know when he will be healthy enough to leave this ward, as his condition has never before been recorded. We would, therefore, strongly advise you do NOT add any of the following ingredients to the recipe (as we are uncertain, as of yet, what combination caused this problem. Understandably no other chef is willing to experiment with them!);

Burnham Bile Distillate
Chi Eridani Marine Paste
Esuseku Caviar
Fujin Tea
Lucan Onionhead
Mokojing Beast Feast
Neritus Berries
Vega Slimweed
Yaso Kondi Leaf

Similar to my idea for Hutton Pizza Supreme:

Have it as a Rare Item made from other Rare Items:

Hutton Pizza Supreme - made from HR 7221 Wheat and Diso Ma Corn, containing only the finest Aepyornis Eggs, Irukama Giant Snails, the meat of Ceti Rabbits, Pavonis Ear Grubs, just a hint of Cherbones Blood Crystals (to give it some body), lavishly topped with HIP 10175 Bush Meat, HIP Proto-Squid, Mulachi Giant Fungus, Ochoeng Chillies and Tarach Spice. Finally, lovingly garnished with a single, exquisite Shans Charis Orchid and served in a Jaradharre Puzzle Box.

Onionhead dip 5 Cr extra.
