Edit: I guess people who didn't donate might feel bad using a skin given for charity donations - but have no fear! You can still donate if you want https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Frontier-Developments even if it's just the price of a paint job it still helps

Free paints are awesome, but not really feeling this. Might use it in the future on a whim, we'll see.

This thread highlights the basic struggle FD have with the game. You just can't make everyone happy.
Does seem pretty off to be snide about a free pj gifted off the back of others generosity which FD is sharing with everyone, though not sure I agree with your conclusion. More of a basic forum thing.

I think regardless of whether or not it's "free", we're allowed to notice when something is ugly. And yeah whatever - it's nice to commemorate the success of the charity livestream in some way and it's a neat souvenir which they absolutely didn't have to do, so good on them. It's still an ugly skin which few people would ever have paid for in the first place, and are unlikely to ever want to use in-game, though. And that was a choice that they made, probably with full awareness of what they were doing.

Not my favourite, but could be worse. Maybe it annoys the Thargoids and I can fit in on the AX one. Switching back to Iridescent now
