Free Rotation of Buildings etc...

Hi,

I just purchased the game and played less than an hour before getting frustrated to the point of playing something else.

Is there a why to freely rotate objects (for example with the mouse) before plopping them down or can you only use the keyboard or am I missing something here?

It is extremely frustrating not being able to line up things correctly.

If I'm not missing something obvious, will you be implementing this ability soon??
 
By pressing the X and Z keys you can rotate buildings.
Pressing the spacebar will toggle free rotation on and off.

Yes, I know these are the keyboard controls and this is my point, they are not true free rotation. No matter how quickly you try to tap the key, the increments are not precise like they would be using a mouse, which makes lining them up with existing buildings, paths etc. very difficult. Even the snap feature seems broken. It doesn't seem to align to a given set of angles relative to the map making it impossible to use it as a base line or staring point for subsequent buildings.

Please consider adding the ability to rotate things by moving the mouse for fine control, maybe just by holding the Alt or Ctrl key your existing mouse action can change from moving the object to locking it at the spot and rotating it, This would allow much finer placement control. You could maybe also add this functionality to other objects like fences, paths, feeders etc.

I can assure you, this would be greatly appreciated by everyone with even the slightest issue with OCD.
