The "Freemen on the land" movement. It's a subsection of the UK population who believe that Parliamentary laws and acts are not legally binding, and for some weird reason maritime law is what applies to them. It is going on in a handful of other countries as well. Think of them as the fruit loop libertarian movement of the USA, but rather than waving guns they instead wave ignorance of the law.
I will stress this again to anyone who reads this, whenever "Freemen" arguments have been used in court they have failed every single time. If you hear about success stories then I suggest you are being lied to. Most of the time the arguments don't merely fail but result in increased fines* or even a criminal record and a prison sentence**.
If you take X-Terminators advice in the UK and don't cooperate with police when they have reason to detain you, you are risking prison.

I have not incited the way of The Freeman. Again do not demonize me. I merely state that it is our right to have our say in court to be given a fair trial and definitions and regulations must all be in check. The enforcers in UK do use bullying tactics and do not consider you innocent for anything unless you prove it. Even more worrying is they twist the facts in favour for a case to go to CPS when a possible victim is seeking damages where no harm came about. The system is widely abused and constantly reported about. Basically there simply isn't enough real crime for them to do and so grab anything easy to twist to their advantage when both Police, CPS and unharmed victim (who use them to avoid a civil matter) gang together to exploit.
