Looking for answers on cargo containers. I was doing some test with fuel containers. They will last 6 minutes as long as i'm within 8K of them. Question is, if any commander is within 8k do they persist? If I jump or leave the server, do they still remain for the full 6 minutes if Cmdrs. are within 8k of them?

Once you leave the instance they will despawn
At least hatch broken player cargo stays in the instance even if they leave these days, and I'm also sure that abandoned cargo also floats around till the timer blows em up.
If nobody is in your instance when you're leaving, they will despawn.
Used to be that everything despawned, and we had to hold the victim hostage till everything was scooped up
Once you leave the instance they will despawn
At that point you would just pull everyone. Some days I like to pirate, although I bring no cargo racks, make my target drop the cargo and then blow their ship up.

What it needs is some apex PvPers (who can be trusted) to act as bodyguards . Won't guarantee safety but may make a fair fight of it if it kicks off.I'll tell you what happens. You just rang the dinner bell. Enjoy the mass murder you have caused.

That's like saying technically speaking a gallon of gas is free. When you have to work to get something, it is not free. when you work then give your time to someone who has not worked , it is considered free.
