Damn. I just left there and reached Maia in my FdL. I would love to get in on some of that action (taking on a Corvette in a gravity well), but it's not practical to return.
Fly within no fire zone, watch them get blown to pieces.
Wait wait, how exactly does that work? people chose to find materials and commodities go to engineers to see what they get for that, isn't that their choice?
Considering the recent changes, this seems.......silly, call a spade a spade, there is a higher player concentration at Engineers, so more people to potentially kill...that's it, that's all it is.

Apparently, some CMDRs feel that any form of escape is cheating. Escaping just shows you're good at running away.
And to the OP, thanks for the warning to the community. I just started doing my engineer stuff in solo, problem solved.

Take the smuggler's approach. Glide a bit farther away...get low and and go fast. Chances are, if you even get noticed in time, they will boost past you and into the ground 
Deciat is great for this with all the canyons...leaves your attacker with a limited range of angles from which they can shoot you and a Cutter will not last long in a canyon chase.

Too be fair he chased me several times and interdicted me 3 times but couldn't get me as my FDL reaches nearly 500 boost.
Just don't like being accused of cheating when I jump to another system then jump back. He was last seen at Garay Terminal having a row with another commander at the station lol.

A bit flawed logic that, and also "true" sandbox might not be a good environment for gaming because there are people that gladly abuse flaws or anything that then would affect everyone as a whole, and no one wants to just be at the whim of a few people, so people would leave the game, by your definition, Elite is a walled sandbox, players can do stuff within the limitations set, and through the factions in game, which is not a bad thing. In fact I'd say is better for a game, as a whole.

give a few minutes,its almost tea time and moms gonna call them down stairs
oh and when they ask for thier space rations,thier moms going to wonder was the delivery pain worth it ...lol
