Friendly with Alliance?

Hello!

For two weeks, I decided to join the Alliance, but I think, I go nowhere...

I have already allied 5 Alliance star systems, friendly with 2 or 3 sub-faction, made 5-10 million credit via trading, but I stuck netural (with up arrow) with Alliance. What I'm doing wrong? I try bounty hunting too, but I only find (near Alliance sytem) wanted ship whom belong with an alliance faction. For that kill, the arrow next Alliance turn down.

Help me please and sorry for english.

After a few days I finally got Friendly with the Alliance and Allied with some smaller Alliance-affiliated groups. Just keep at it, you'll get there in time.

From my experience I'd say you've done nothing wrong. Keep a close track of the arrow to make sure it's not red to indicate your doing something wrong (large fines like getting caught smuggling can tank your rep fast, or used to, not tested for a long while). Main faction rep can take quite a while to get to friendly or allied. If you've not got any Alliance sub factions you've unfriendly / hostile with then I'd say your well on your way to friendly.

I hope so. I don't hurry, just I'm a little frustrated because I do many slave liberation and weapon purchase mission, and I feel s for nothing.

No, I'm just netural, friendly and allied .

Hi!
just keep building up rep with some minor alliance factions. Try to raise more factions in different systems above neutral.
Good thing to gain rep is to trade in exploration data or bounty vouchers at the main faction station you want to build up (trading large amounts of rares and making good profit does help, too )

Choose systems with low population, because it's a bit more easy to affect.

I'm allied with alliance, now.

Good luck!

Buy a ship from one of their stations.

Example in Alioth system?

btw, thanks for this many answer! You're the best!

About the bounty: I have to fly out the alliance systems and kill wanted ship in a fed or empire region?

Well I just got Allied status with the Federation not that long ago. I just kept doing missions in different systems to get the main faction of that system to allied status (because that's how you get Federal Navy missions) after a while they became friendly and then after that they became allied. Just keep doing missions especially the rep gain which are mostly the donation missions. Also I noticed that high profile missions (meaning the ones where you hunt some Elite Anaconda that's been terrorizing some system) will get you allied status faster than say... take this scrap metal to X station.

I do slave/weapon and mission for metals. I'm too little for an elite anaconda.

Become aligned with a few minor Alliance systems. If you really want to make a difference you need to head to the Alioth outlying systems and work for Alioth Independents who will eventually give you a system permit.

I found an elite anaconda mission seemingly didn't get me any rep at all :/

In terms of buying a ship, I hadn't run many missions but got friendly when I got an Adder in a station near Alioth, dictatorship high tech but I don't think exact station is important.

Alioth Independents is the faction that will give you permission to enter Alioth, the main system of the Alliance. Like Devil's Refugee posted, head to the Alioth region and start doing missions there. And it will take some time to earn their trust, so don't worry if nothing will happen after a mission or two. :)

I'm already allied with Alioth Independents, I got premit too :) But that happend a week ago :)

The "problem" with Alliance is that its a whole load of independent factions aligned together rather than under one political regime. So no niceties like ranking, navies or ship types. Could change over time of course if such a storyline evolved.

any alliance-bounty works. just dont shoot wanted ships that belong to an alliance faction (should not affect your rep, but its "saver" this way :). hunt in near anarchy sytems with a kw-scanner.

the rep is gained with the local-station-faction you are cashing in the gathered bounty after a hunting season :)
Same with exploration data. Can give you a big reputation boost!

Good thing when you dont want to do missions all the time...

I got allied with alliance (against my will) just by doing trading and turning in bounties, but I think you will need few millions more. You dont need to get allied with more factions, its enought to work for one and you get your federation reputation anyway. Also, I am shooting alot of "green" ships when bountyhunting and it does not have much (or any ?) effect on my standing with alliance.

Quickest way I've found to ally with a faction is to hand in a lot of bounties at one time.

I went straight to allied with the Feds for handing in 1.2m. 600k immediately got me friendly with the Alliance.

I'm with the princess of the Empire... my secret lover.. cough cough :D But the empire is a better place than the would be democrats who bombard farms from orbit!! hahaha

I plan to visit the Orion nebula, so afternoon I collect some more credit (300-400k need only) and start my tour ;)

btw, I'm allied more faction now, but still the same, Alliance neutral with up arrow.
