from dream to nightmare

Is v-sync enabled? You seem to have to many details/pixels

As a test to minimize the number of suspect component I suggest you put in your old gpu and see if you have the same issues

It would have been with pleasure, but I do not have my old graphics card anymore.

Hey, I chime in a bit late, but do you still have your issue ?

I think the problem may come from the upscaling that it applied twice, both in steamVR and ED.
As you have a powerful gpu, steam probably bumped the supersampling, which it probably wasn't doing before (at least not that much) .

Set SteamVR on 100%, and the SS/HMD parameters of ED to 1.0 and see if you still have issues.
If that's working OK, you may then up the HMD setting in ED.
What's troubling me is that you don't have issue in 2D or other Vr games. You've reinstalled Windows when you've got the new hardware, right ?

@omanjee I don't have any help for your VR problem, but I wanted to tell you that your English is very good :D

Thank you.
No It's never too late
I am desperate to be able to play ED!
You are right. your message join that of Balmungs a little higher. I just tested:
Yes it lags a lot less when I put 100% at the level of SteamVr (Tab application) and also by security in the tab Video;) and 1 to SS and HMD in ED.
But, the problem does not disappear completely and on occasion (when I return to the stations) I have 1 or 2 loss of images (at least much less than before).
However, if I pass the HMD at 1.5, it's gone. Even if I'm in VR Low .
I do not know how to say in English but in French we say "I have the balls", because with my machine configuration I have less performance than with my old i7 and my GTX1080 graphics card.
But thanks in any case.
I will return the card to the seller because in parallel I had requested a breakdown.
However, as it only affects the VR, I do not know if they will discover something.

Thank you all for your help. It was really nice for the exchanges.

Search / run 'Game bar settings': ensure 'Record games clips, screenshots and broadcast using Game bar' is set to off. When there look left and click 'Captures', ensure 'Background recording' is set to 'Off'. If set to 'On' it makes most computers fall on their ;) Do the same for GeForce experience if installed.

It might not be the problem but it is the only thing I can think of that has come up repeatedly.

Some of the game DVRs (like the MS one) lock to low FPS.
