However, as that comment may go over your head allow me to compare you to me : I bet you have claimed the insurance right .. been killed, magically pop up again in a station, new ship, faction ratings intact ready to carry on ?! Play like a real pro and wipe your commander on death - I do, exclusively in open* Now, do you still have a right to judge ?






*For all the other regular players I really couldn't care less how you play the game. What grinds my gears though is when we get forum users abusing others because they don't play like them and belittle them for it. Honestly - just let people play how they want, you focus on your own game, have fun, and if not go do something else.

Haha well thats all fine and dandy for you if thats how you want to play. But wiping progress every time you die is pointless. Considering all the time you have to invest to get somewhere in this game let alone it is well known that upon destruction your escape pod is launched and you are then picked up and ferried back to the last station you were at. However it is understandable since its so easy to run away in this game. and the NPC's are hardly a challenge after a certain point so if you don't have to worry about players your golden and won't ever die unless you loiter [masked swearing redacted - please avoid this thank you]

With all posts and opinions around, i just stopped here to say I find your idea amusing. A special NPC guardian cheater that can't be cheated because it cheats. Infinite shields? No prob. One shot of this super sidewinder and its insta-death. Of course, if someone is going to add code to bring this animal to life and teach him all the stuff, it would be easier just to stick with the original simpler plan: Cheater detected? Shadowban. I don't wanna sound rude, and I know such thing cannot be done due to each case complexity, but if I stood on Frontier's shoes I would clear the save of all cheaters. Stupid people get stupid measures. I think that would teach the scum their place.

That whole group enrages me, we have literally a whole galaxy. But they need their own separate galaxy cause their so scared of a little competition. Honestly unless your in a super densely populated system and even then how often do you see another player. pro tip not very often and the chances they will just attack you are so slim.
But hey what do I know i'm only 4% into deadly 92 % into tycoon clearly I don't have the experience to judge >.>

When I'm feeling sociable I play in mobius, no other reason to it.

It's an easy way of avoiding the sort of enraged people who like to scream carebear or quote meaningless percentages whilst telling you how to play.

ok infraction / ban potential incoming here.... but what enrages me are (insert expletive here) accusing players who are using the advertised / promised modes in the game to enable them to play the game closer to how DB told us it would be in the dev diaries of being cowards.
I am not "scared" of PvP, I am not "scared" of nobends camping in stations, or blowing me up for not being aligned to anyone in PP, it is a videogame!. But what I AM tired of is people who were too stupid, ignorant or lazy to understand the game they were buying or how it was marketed to many of us. I play for enjoyment, and enjoyment to me is playing socially with a group of friends, or sometimes the odd random even as a largely co-operative experience.

I was sold that product, if you do not like it tough, but sod off with the coward lies. I know the mods are volunteers and I respect that, and I realise that posts like mine do not help either, but calling people cowards etc really needs to be stopped imo.

ahh and "pro tip" (a term which has alarm bells of someone who loves themselves too much) IF you have zero interest in PvP then "slim" is worse than none..... I made it to elite once in the original game, deadly again in the original game, elite in frontier, deadly in FFE and deadly in oolite and enjoyed it all without any PvP at all, all of which is as completely irrelevant as your "showing off" that you are deadly.... yay props to you BUT it does not mean you have any more insight into whether I want any PvP or not!.

Also, as for the size of the galaxy nonsense, true, in which case why don’t the PvP lot do one and go and find their own corner of the Galaxy somewhere. Some of us actually want to fly around iconic areas such as Lave, Sol, Achenar etc
