The game will always be somewhat "on life support" requiring new content at a pretty fast rate.

For me it's too little too slow, but that's not a dig at Frontier, it's crazy trying to push out new content for something like this and they are doing a fine job of it.

I haven't "completed" all of the engineers stuff, but getting more boosts to various modules isn't a huge cool thing, I've used the mechanic, get it, and to be honest, most of it is kind of a bit of a chore (different topic though, not trying to de-rail) so that's not really "content" I need to play through to it's "completion" to call "done" for me.

I suppose when I say FD are adding more content than I can consume - still of course there is some content I wish was here now.

Like NPC's EVERYWHERE !!!!

NPC's on bridge and on stations.

Odd question... Lol

My answer is both yes and no.

I've experienced nearly all the content, except for Arena, and PowerPlay.
Which i will likely never touch.

But, I still keep finding new stuff to mess with, Engineer combos, outfitting options, odd planets, etc.

Basically, I'm still exploring the content we already have.

FYI, been playing since 1.4

Practically the same for me, except I played about 3 rounds of arena.

I like the slow burn. I really enjoy the anticipation of new point updates. Each one has brought more to the game. I'm not really a PowerPlayer, but I know many people who actively plan and plan around it. I liked what they were trying with CQC, but the match making wasn't too great. In fact, I find watching those matches much more interesting than main game combat. I can appreciate what every update brings, whether it directly impacts me or not. Engineers is great and there is no end. You can always try to tweak a module more.

I'm not keen on instant ship transfer, but we'll see how it goes. There's a lot of good stuff in 2.2!

Mh, ignored PP and Arena and even most of the Engineers (just wanted FSDRange5 and DD3 from Felicity).

I am happy with what we have.Still looking forward to ... a bit of everything :)

I vote yes, because I haven't really done the Engineers yet, I like to just roam around and do my own stuff, I like to see the planets as I really like the variety, yes they are very different if you look closer.

I'm more into exploration and I'm more waiting for that mechanics to be fleshed out and combined with spacelegs. If Passengers are done right I will probably do a lot of that, it all depends on how FD did the whole setup. For the moment I get my passenger fix in Prepar3D and if FD make some that is close or similar I will get in ED for sure.

Its funny, because i actually want to play more CQC. Its just every time i think of it, i then think "But dang, i wanted to actually do Y tonight... and if don't do Y tonight, then i won't be doing Z tomorrow.... no time for CQC!"

For the most part, yes.

Mind you, I certainly take my sweet time with Elite. I'm not in any rush to 'finish' content that's put in. If something catches my eye I'll move on to trying it out, but by and large, my time is spent puttering around the galaxy doing whatever tickles my fancy.

I've never really been a game completionist so to speak. Heck, I've been playing since beta and only have 7 mil in credits and around 50 mil in assets which includes my slightly modded piracy cobra IV (which is a role that's well suited to that vessel), my suped up Eagle II for combat zones (it's so        g fast!), and a completely A rated vulture that basically just collects dust.

Someday I'll have everything I want in game, but I'm thinking "what's the rush?" I enjoy myself thoroughly and I plan to keep it that way instead of grinding.

Also, whilst on the topic.....I have still never owned a ship bigger than a Cobra MkIII.....so that is on my to-do list as well ;).

You know, we are *never* going to get persistent NPC's, in space, after that debacle on the 28th of August. Sadly, it seems the only way some people can interact with people is by shooting and killing them.....which is truly sad.

Is there another way? I guess we can scan an NPC or ram him. That about covers all the ways we can interact

Interesting ... more than 50% of the comments say Yes, while 75% of the votes say No. Perhaps the No's treat the game like they treat this thread - click, consume and move on!

:p

Sorry, I'm teasing slightly.

For some people having 100 mods in Engineer is content, for others, doing the same thing over and over is not too much new content.

For me modifying 1 module is the same as modifying 100. The content is the same, you have more choices but you'll do the same to achieve them.

The gameplay is the most important content of any game and is the same as in beta 2014.

No, the pace is right but I hope to be able to walk and explore my ships and stations very soon cause it's the main reason why I bought the game at the beginning, I want to be able to board ships, go around in my ship with friends, maybe let my friends handle turrets while I fly, go for EVA and planetside walk, pvp and hunting, all stuff they promised to release soon or later so I'm still hopeful they will release those features which for me would make the game much better, Star Citizen has that already but it lacks of realism and planets are really small, I want a Elite Dangerous to do atmospheric flight planet environments much better than SC, as for how they make the shooter, I'm confident they will do it better than than SC simply cause FD is more focused on scientifically correctness than anything else

i was right there with you until you said "scientific correctness".

We have Rngineers magic items and now game breaking, world breaking instantaneous ships transport.
