Elite / Frontier Frontier/First Encounters/Elite 4 on PSP

I have finally got round to buying a PSP, which I got at a nice price on ebay, and have had some thoughts about Elite on the PSP. Firstly I'm thinking it would be great to have Elite/Frontier/First Encounters working on this device. I think it would be great to have these games (or even one or two) updated for the PSP. If this is not deemed viable then maybe we can have a version of Elite 4 running on the PSP (If a version of Elite 4 is going to be developed for the PS3 then why not ?) - providing of course that the PSP is still mainstream when E4 is released. I'm also getting a feeling that there will be a successor to the PSP (PSP II probably) so it may be worth pursuing even then.

I'm even wondering if Oolite can run on the PSP.

I guess a search on Google may in order. . .

I quick search "Elite PSP" brought up two interesting links. Looks like someone has managed to get Frontier to work on the PSP, but because it is still in beta it will be a little slow in places. I wonder if they can do the same with FFE ?

XBOX Elite

Today I read that Microsoft is going to sell the XBOX 360 Elite per April 29.

XBOX 360 Elite...

Is that name a hint?

Ah, the Xbox 360 Elite. I wish I had waited a while longer before I got my 360 last October but I just couldn't resist. However I have a 3 year plan with Microsoft so that if my 360 packs in I will get the new version - since the Elite 360's specs will be become the new standard at some point. I would love to have the Elite version though - I like the black and green look to it, never mind the 120GB hard drive. The new Elite version will not overheat like it's predecessor either - but this should have been addressed during the testing phase of its design, oh well. . .
