Frontier: Wireframe Python skin Error!

Meh, this comes out before the ship kit we have been waiting for. Great....
I saw your Python wireframe skin go on sale and I was about to buy it but something didn't look quite right.
Original Python:

as you can see, the new wireframe is wrong and doesn't match the original
if you would kindly correct it, I would immediately buy one!
Nice catch! Fix your game Frontier! This makes it totally unplayable.

Looks the same. What am I missing?
It looks as if the middle triangles on the 84 mesh have been transposed to the outline fits the 16 Python better.
Original is \|/ and new one is /|\ at the bottom.
Not to tread of furrycat's paws, but left is the new paintjob, right is the wireframe original:
As an 84'er with similarly overly keen pattern recognition the right feels more familiar and 'better', but I still like the new one.
Edit: I actually like the way the left looks as the paintjob, I don't like it as the wireframe alone.

Thanks for making the pic, saving (for example) me the trouble.
And I won't buy the new one, it just is wrong.
In all seriousness, though, my assumption was that it would be like the 'Tron'-style hologram we get in loading screens. This interpretation isn't quite so cool, alas!

Right. Got black, why would I add a bunch of stripes advertising my ship's attitude and direction to its opponents? :S
