Frontier's HUGE Hill to Climb

Can someone please point me towards this huge hill?

I have been having fun and I am really enjoying all of the Beyond 3.0 updates and haven't encountered any ground-breaking bugs or game issues. I've read about them on the forums but I take the complaint posts with a pinch of salt (see what I did there? :p) as these forums are famous for those kind of posts.

So in summary, I think the Beyond series so far is turning out to be a great update.

Entertaining the ops post as a valid point for a second, id say there's one and only fix that will enable it.

Delete the mission board. Problem solved. Remember when the mission board had nothing but rubbish and paid under 10k for most things? What did people do back then? Go play in the sandbox. Really its not that hard.

EDIT.... With the mission board gone, what would be the highest paying thing you can do? Probably road to riches. Or selling painite. /facepalm.

Even more.. selling meta alloys? Community goals even at their current rewards. Its too much trouble for what it does, and actively removes people from whats good about elite in the first place.

As for the hill, scroll up or use this link to an earlier post https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ill-to-Climb?p=6545194&viewfull=1#post6545194

It's surrounding FDev offices and they have to get over to get into work every day now. [haha]

Frontier is going to have to do something absolutely spectacular to bounce back from the total and complete failure of 3.0.3.
Just read through the forums. Nearly every complaint and bug complaint is legitimate. They are too numerous to count. I've been playing since launch and this really got me this time. The random crashes, refusal to fix things, taking 5 steps backwards when trying to take one step forward... Frontier has screwed the pooch harshly on 3.0.3.
I honestly have no clue what they can do to bounce back from the pure technical failure of this update. Frontier lost what little credibility it had left.

The only major issue is wing missions from what I can see and how the rewards are done as none of that makes any logical sense. Apart from that I see no other major issues which are not being sorted.

i disagree, i feel ThePunisher and his "Vet" ilk got what they knew would happen, as thats what happens every time they ,passanger missions(removed), skimmers(removed), mining(removed), navy rank(removed)

get over it, they removed/disabled them to address a serious issue that was ruining the game for vets, who are glad to admit they reported it and submitted tickets about it...till fdev addressed it.

I get it now.

1 forum user said something that may have accidentally resulted in a bug in the latest update. And for that you are:

* Starting a witch hunt against that specific user by having one of his messages in the signature of your post.
* Spamming the forum with copies of his comment in multiple messages across multiple threads.
* Flooding the forum with belligerent, hyperbolic, duplicate, and outright false garbage posts.

Also, you've made 125 spam & off-topic posts in the last 8 hours.

In my opinion, you are breaking Rule (2), Rule (5), and Rule (13) of the Frontier Forum guidelines.

Christ man, I don't know who this "Punisher" is you keep rambling on about in about 7 different threads thus far but you kinda seem obsessed with him. Perhaps take a deep breath, count to ten, and try to write a post without slinging veiled insults around at people that might have a different view?

Whilst I agree 3.03 has issues and was perhaps not ready for prime time I like what FD are trying to do and I think it will get there. Some features I disagree with how implemented but it's not MY game and like the stones said..... You can't always get what you want

Was that ever in patch notes? That's really funny

Yes it was and it made a mountain of salt all by its self.

I diddnt find it funny at the time, but Im old like that, but my god the forums have become a bit like the dead sea on pcp since that was posted so now im sure FD have more than enough of the stuff to keep the UK snow free for the next few years.

Talking off snow its just started to melt in my neck of the woods, Ive seen the pavment for the first time since mid November.

Oh as for the OP, come on its not that bad, sure things are not looking too great but Im sure enough people are logging in each night and just getting on with playing the game.

Wheeeee! And not a moment too soon. The "game is dying / patch x.x.x is a failure" threads have returned!

Based on my stats, soon we will have a couple of the 'open letter to Frontier', followed by another 'solo vs pg vs open' and two or three 'p2p vs client-server' threads.. cycling up!!!
