Frontline/Apex ships with CMDR onboard... is there any reason to explain why we can't interdict [and kill] them?

Yes, I cannot understand "I want to kill defenseless ships controlled by NPCs just to prevent others play"

Apart from that, you can kill apex/dropship while they leaving or arriving at destination. The whole point of this two services is to give CMDRs that do not want to fly ships an ability to move around. If you want to kill them, go on-foot and try it. Nothing stops you from doing that.

You can gank incoming or outgoing apex taxi's near the station... At least I had a lot of fun murderhoboing Cmdrs in Alpha... Perhaps I caused a change?

As subject says... how are we supposed to counter BGS/undermining activities if we can't interdict/kill the ships?

By working the BGS, which is 10x more effective than hanging around space looking for players to kill who you have no idea of what they are doing or who they are working for. If you go around killing people without even knowing who they are working for you might be stopping people who are working for your faction or maybe just people who are passing through and aren't even doing anything in relation to your faction.

First of all, isn't Apex supposed to be the SAFE way ? If Cmdr doesn't want to use his own ship because he wants a safe trip, he can take Apex.

If you have a beefy enough computer you can run 2 instances on a single computer.
true, I want me one of those computers...

Seriously? You really have to ask that question?

Here's a hint... Take an Apex shuttle yourself and JUST LOOK how much control you have over it...

Common dude, use some common sense. It'd be like kicking a puppy that had been glued to the floor.
I'd imagine their preferred pvp against ships involves type 9s with no combat weapons and other similar defenseless ships

You still can do that. The OP wants to see them in supercruise and being able to interdict them.
And honestly, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to. That's a bit too handwavey for me. Unless there's something lore-wise that says that Apex have anti-Interdiction modules....which is even sillier because why then couldn't we buy them?

There is one important reason called playability. A player in Apex/Dropship have zero control over evading another player in SC or trying to escape once interdicted. In addition those ships have laughable defense capabilities. Honestly, adding abity to interdict those service vessels makes less sense to me than removing them all together from the game.

And apart from that Frontier can always give you a bone by making you able to interdict them but impossible to beat them in the mini game by development magic ;)

Yeah, but...oh, nevermind. You're right...but I don't like it. It was bit thrilling to me to be in a taxi, wondering what was going to happen. Now that I know I'm indestructible, well...booooo.

I disagree, BGs is essentially solo play ? No. There is a lot of people playing together. If someone is too lazy to put a little bit of effort to find them or maybe is looking to cause problem and try to kill everyone everytime and being ousted, that is their problem. Read a Galnet, go to event, I went one time to one of those MegaShips being attack by thargoids event. Guess what, there was about 15 cmdrs in there.

edit: there are cmdrs out there who are ousted by many groups who will kill them onsight and I bet many of those cmdrs are the once causing problem because they have nowhere to go. from hunters they became hunted and they are bored now looking for easy pry.
I said bgs on foot is essentially solo. It's annoying to counter due to you not being able to see them to try and stop them. I get you can just work harder but what's the point if people in solo or pg can sit there all day and just ruin it.

Im not sure what galnet or CGs have to do regarding this conversation but I play in open and often go to these areas to pirate people or help kill thargoids. I've also been on the end of bgs attacks from solo and Pg because they can do it without worrying about dying

are you saying it's not ok to attack players because we are "prevent others play". There are PvP activities in open and there will always be a losing side to it.
