Frontline Solutions not delievering me to Conflict Zone?

I've just started messing around with the surface content and decided to do some surface CZ's. I checked for war state, went to the system and went to frontline solutions and signed up.
I selected the planet (a low intensity cz to start with) then the faction to fight for. It provided the vulture for transport to the planet and base.

The transport dropped me like 500+ meters away though which i thought was strange but ran to the ground station only to find a regular settlement with no conflict happening. Tried to relog but that did nothing. Took an ARK ship back to the station and repeated to a different location and the same thing happened.

Kind of at a loss here. Am I missing something? There was some type of quest giver at both settlements but they wanted me to go to a completely different system and planet for those. Any help would be appreciated because I'm lost and a bit frustrated at the waste of time.

Sadly, this is a bug.

Try a different system - I would use this link in Inara to find some of what you're looking for.

There's been some fun new bugs since Trailblazers. Had a no-booking for the Vulture. The really fun one was the settlement didn't spawn and the Vulture decided to repeatedly headbutt into the bare patch of ground, that was hilarious.

Had that happen too on the first attempt! Thanks for the heads up, I do appreciate it.

Thank you for the tip. I did end up doing exactly that and it seemed to mostly be fine. Thanks again, the tip saved my sanity xD

is there a way to find out which settlements are low and high combat zones other than at the frontlinesolution storefront map?
I don't think there is. Which is a shame. And you also can't see if bases are in conflict until you arrive in the system. Which can be annoying especially as Inara isn't live and you rock up to find peace.

Also, you can't see what threat levels there are until you talk to the officer on deck.

I love GCZs but they could do with a bit of QOL polish in terms of finding one.

It's worse than that. The galmap is currently mostly useless. Half the time a system shown as being in war is not in war when you arrive. Then there's the systems showing the war color filter when they're actually in infrastructure failure. Never had these issues before Trailblazers.

Indeed.

Instead of an update with added ground combat fun (i.e. I still hope for ground AX combat), we got an update that broke a lot of engaging combat content and/or took it all away (AX, ground CZs). Here's hoping that Vanguards will bring some of the fun content back. Teamwork in CZs rather than Zzzzs in hauling.

Sounds a bit messy... Trailblazes must've confused a lot stuff.

The poor server hamsters were already stretched with pre-trailblazer updates, now they are running those wheels overtime. Poor poor server hamsters.

I guess FD are in a bit of a pickle, faced with trying to optimize to relive the pressure while letting colonization run or putting a hold on it until they can figure it out.

Neither is going to be popular... damned if they do, damned if they don't.
