FSD/Supercruise/Hyperjump

Messed with the Gamma some tonight and tried to SC from one point in a star system to another, only to figure out my SC key had been unbound. When I looked at the control rig I found there are now 3 different keys.

FSD
FSD to SC
and FSD to hyperjump.

Can someone who knows please explain the difference?

Thanks!

FSD - activates the frame shift drive, if a hyperspace target is set it hyperpaces, if an in system target is set (or no target is selected) it jumps to SC.

FSD to SC - jumps to SC regardless of a hyperspace target being set.

FSD to hyperjump. - Jumps to hyperspace (needs a system to be set)

So I now need 3 binds to operate my FSD where I used to get by with one? Can't say I like that.

You can leave the other 2 binds empty.

What I have done is keep the original context-sensitive FSD bind, and added a bind for "Supercruise Only". I use this new key when the hyperspace target is blocked. Otherwise I'm still using the usual one.

no, you can still use a single bind:

FSD - activates the frame shift drive, if a hyperspace target is set it hyperpaces, if an in system target is set (or no target is selected) it jumps to SC.

this is how it worked when a single bind was the only option.
