Happens on PC as well. If you are at zero throttle on system landing, it generally won't show until you've steered clear of star collision and throttled up a bit. But now and then It will vanish in the midst of a scooping run, in which case I always veer away from the star -- it's too easy to clip the EZ because I fly fairly close to the boundary when scooping.

Newcomer / Intro Fuel Scoop Question .....

When I drop in system, I just point toward slightly to the edge of the star and the line usually shows up fairly quickly. On the rare occasion that it doesn't show up I just eyeball it and watch my fuel rate and heat.
