Ships Fuel tanks for Vulture

I got a fuel tank C3 (capacity 8) in my vulture. I used to have an extra tank with capacity 16 but I had to switch that for the SRV hangar.

So I wonder, is there better fuel tanks for Vulture than C3? If so, where can I buy it?

You can't actually upgrade the fitted fuel tank. It's one of the drawbacks with the Vulture.

And yeah, I would also go as far as saying that it doesn't make for a good anything-other-than-killing ship. It's pretty much a one-trick pony. Consider the Vulture a short-ranged heavy fighter. There are far better suited ships for exploring and mission running out there in the same price range as the Vulture.

Yeah, I guess. It worked pretty well as explorer with the extra fuel tank, but without it, not so much..

It has all the necessary things for combat, and it has enough armor to survive if shields are out. Extra fuel tank adds some jump range (if needed, one or both HRPs can be swapped with fuel tanks, giving it additional range).
The Vulture is a pure combat ship. Do not try to use it as trader or explorer. If your sole ship is a Vulture, head out to CZ or RES to earn some money.

Just put the SRV in your class 2 slot, and put the extra 16 ton tank back in the class 4.

I personally say screw the hanger and use re-fit said fueltank.

Makes your combat life-span basically infinite if you know how to fly right.
