Furthest Distance Traveled?

Does anybody know what the furthest traveled across the galaxy has been? While Colonia is far out there, has anybody traveled to the other side of the Galaxy? Or been to the core (very center)?

Currently working on a mission that is farther than Colonia. Going to stop there for any repairs needed etc, before continuing on. While looking up a map in Google I noticed someone had made a transit line (at least on the map) going completely across the Galaxy towards the 'outer suns of the rim'. I was curious to know if anybody has actually made that journey? Where I am now, about half way from Power Play space to Colonia almost every system is 'unknown' with nobodies name in lights having first discovered them.

Would love to know what the furthermost distances traveled in any direction have been.

CMDR Sam Ishum has travelled as far to the cardinal points as is possible.

There was also a group of players who pretty much circumnavigated the Milky Way !

But the deep space challenge is still ongoing https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/296037-The-65000-Ly-from-Sol-Club-ver-3-0

If you make it passed 65,000ly you get to join the 65k Club (provide proof).
Best to research it before going. You have to cross the Abyss to get there, very tough without a known/good route or great jump range.

Lots of people have been to the core, there's a club for that too but it's not being maintained.

Noticed the Beagle Point thread. Was curious if there was any further. Guess not really. I am curious to see if other Galaxies will open up in the coming years as this game keeps going.

Thanks for moving my thread mods. I realized it was in the wrong area about a minute after I posted it.

...has anybody traveled to...

Want to leave the beaten paths and explore the lesser visited areas of the galaxy? I took a screenshot from EDD's current 3D map, where each white dot represents a system visited by a CMDR (who chose to reported that, ultimately being stored at EDSM). This should give you a rough idea where you can still find 'new land' - at least as far as EDSM is concerned.

Thanks. That helps a lot.

"As of today 0.002183% of the galaxy has been discovered on EDSM, it will take 71,738 years, 18 days to discover it entirely." Don't count on it :D

Perhaps not, but you never know. Could be a great Lore tool in that they could explain the aliens come from a different galaxy, thus the two go to war. Hard to say, I guess.

What is the most distant system you can reach with Jumponium, now? Beyond Beagle Point?
