So what does this new thargoid interceptor called hydra mean for gnosis? This is what I’m gathering, the system that it’s supposed to jump to is being permit locked, does that mean that everyone onboard will have to stay in that one system and if they leave they’re stranded?

It's still going in defiance of the block by the Pilots Federation. I've just gone to Mic Turner base in the California Sector where I purchased a few AX weapons and heat sinks, then returned to the Gnosis, went to outfitting and started these items to transfer to the ship. Just as a precaution, of course.
MY personal theory is that once there we (1) may receive permits from the ship itself so we can still go exploring in the area, or; (2) may end up in a 4-week fight for our lives being stuck in the same system. Recommend landing and transferring weapons to their outfitting station (just in case, you know).
Also, bring beer. They might like beer. If they don't go for the beer, WE can drink it.

It's fluid. Like most things. It will be a calculated risk to hop on board the Gnosis as I presume Canonn and Frontier have a thing planned and anyone else along for the ride might get a little more of a close encounter than expected.
Just remember; the ship will be there for a month. If it goes north, it goes north for a month (short of suiciding out).
