Hello to everybody and the developers from Frontier Development.

Although I don't think they will touch this and even less think they care...
I just need to address this but I've never been so angry and disappointed about a release of a game.

To be honest: This launch seems not going well and I can't get rid of the feeling you are loosing a lot of faithful players and fans.

At least I would like to see a clear and straight future road map how it will go on and get the chance
to come back to the game somehow.

Here are the points/questions:

- Will there be a major re-design and improvement for the UI? (free update)

- Will there be major improvement on mouse/keyboard controls? (free update)

- A way back to Steamworkshop? (free update)

- At least some basic content and variation to work with to create a THEME park, like sci-fi,
spooky, adventure, western etc./e.g. ? (free update!)

- All the major bugs fixed, for example slide physics, guest pathing, stuff KI, Guest KI, stuttering performance etc... (free update)

- Improvements on the management part (free update)

- Overall getting a product that doesn't feel like being in early Access state and half baked? (free update)

Before this happens, to be honest, I personally don't want to see any new overpriced
DLC (Seriously, a double priced DLC than usual on release date which is the same DLC like in Planet Coaster 1 ?!) .
But I somehow feel the next one will be out right in december before christmas.

A solid/good game and DLC as a nice bonus I appreciate and can make a game even grow further. But this?

It seems that Frontier proved with Planet Coaster 2 that they don't care about putting love into
their game, but care about grabbing money.
Don't let it be one of my biggest mistakes to fall in love with the planet series and the developer...

I agree with you about a roadmap. We need some communication between the team and the community. This is completely missing this time around. It's okay add volunteer mods, but they're not really going to have the answers. We need a community manager like Bo..

The only free updates I expect are fixes for the game and a rethink of the UI/UX. I'm more than happy to buy everything else..

If they happen to release a DLC before fixing how much of a faff it is for PC users to navigate the game, I can say with confidence that I won't be buying it and I'll maybe lose faith in the studio and not buy anything moving forward.

So, regular communication, so we know our issues are being dealt with.
A fix for the minor bugs in the game.
A fix (not just a bandaid) for the UI/UX. I don't want to click 20 times to change a path! And why does the bottom menu bar vanish when I do anything??

The game is awesome! It really is. Played it all day, but if someone asked me to rate it right now, it'd be a 5/10.

I echo your feelings.
This will be the last Frontier game I get on launch day, I'll add.

I know the issues are very different but this brings to mind Cities Skylines 2. I am so disappointed in Frontier for releasing the game like this. If they had just said "We're going to launch in early access for the remainder of 2024" and had a price tag to match it, I would have been ok with it. Because people know what they're in for.
But right now I feel like they tricked us honestly. And the problems are not immediately apparent so you're likely to go past that 2 hour refund window.

So they will probably get to keep my £55. But they've massively damaged their reputation in my eyes.
Crickets in terms of actual communication too. The hotfix info is good. But outside of that some acknowledgement of the mess the game is right now and talking to fans would be good.

This right here. I really do want to love it, i'm not trying to sound mean. But it really does feel underbaked and communication as to why from an actual dev would be nice.

I do feel with you! Would the game have been released as "Early Access" everthing
would be fine. I would say: "The potential is awesome! I'm really looking forward
what it looks like and you will do with in the next 6 month, 1 year, 2 years … etc."
But as a full price release with a double priced DLC (than usual) right at the release, with
an immense hype going on the last month and slogan's like "ready for the next big wave?", it feels like a painful slap into the face.

That makes me even more worrying about the future of the planet series. And there are many people remembering Cities Skylines 2.
