Galactic map empty?

Is this a bug or am I just being daft? (cant find a reference to is anywhere else)

On my galactic map I see Erinin (default starting location) my sphere of range, the grid and nothing else. No systems at all so to jump to another system I have to select it from the list in the navigation pane. (I have all filters selected)

Pretty sure it was working a couple of days ago too

Does it say "unconnected" in the top left?

Even more weird, I've just tried it on my laptop and it works fine. :S

Not sure how to explain that one. It's not like it's a graphical error I could put down to it not liking the card in my PC (a HD6970 btw), but for some reason on my laptop I have a full star map and on the PC I can only see the system I'm in, the grid and my range sphere.

Any ideas?
