Galaxy Map Minor Faction Interface

Any chance that the Galaxy Map could have an interface added that would allow you to select the minor Faction your squadron is aligned to in order to see where they are located and which ones they are also in control?

Also, can you make it so that one can support more than one minor Faction? Canonn has like three factions of interest. Granted we are not avid BGSers, but being able to support our other named entities would be kind of cool.

There's nothing stopping you supporting whatever faction you want though, regardless of your squadrons pledge?

Yeah, I know you can. Just that when you have three minor factions named Canonn, it would be nice to be able to keep track of all three.

I am not even sure what pledging to minor Faction does to be honest.

Maybe it would be better if we were just able to type in a minor Faction name and it color codes the systems they are in and which ones they control.

I asked in the past for being able to show several selected factions presence in a manner similar to how power play influence is shown on the galmap.

Think it would be nice to be able to see how big a faction is and in what star systems they are present in.

A necro, but with Trailblazers this map mode is needed more than ever. We have used squadron bookmarks for this, but it's no longer practical with the number of systems under our control. Perhaps it could be added with the Vanguards update.

I'd suggest something like one colour for systems that the faction controls and another for systems where the faction is merely present. Perhaps a third colour where the faction is in some sort of conflict and fourth where it's retreating.
