Galaxy map not working properly....I think.

Hello!

Whenever I go on to my galaxy map it never allows me to lock on to anything (as in, the little circle that appears that allows to to lock on to systems when you place it over them, isn’t there), and I don’t know why. I’ve tried restarting the game and Xbox. Does anyone know if this is just a setting/what is happening???

I was having this issue the other day, changing angles, zooming in out and selecting random stars apart from the one I wanted and it eventually started working again. However that's probably pure coincidence, I suspect it's all network related and my net was playing up for a few seconds. I'm on PC btw so it' so it's probably not Xbox related.

Thank you for your help, but I don’t think that’s 100% related to my issue. I’m still able to zoom in and out with no trouble, it’s selecting stars in the first place that’s the problem, I think (from what I’m seeing). I also waited for approximately a day and I still had the same issue, so I don’t think it’s a network problem, at least not a temporary one.

I’ll be sure to keep that suggestion in mind possibly for the future though. Thx.

Try changing the galaxy settings on the tab where you can set it to realistic or Map (with filters). Using different filters (such as star type) or the Realistic option always fixes this when it occurs for me. I am on PC, not Xbox, but do have this same issue depending on what filters I have selected. Sometimes just toggling to realistic and then back (with the same filters) even fixes it.
