Galaxy Map - set range

I think it'd be much easier to use, manipulate and calculate routes if we were able to set the range on the galaxy map/navcom.

The `potential` route you're after would be calculated faster and moving around the map, trying to find stars on the correct plane, would be a breeze.

I would like a ruler of sorts for measuring the distance between two points. You can eyeball it in two dimensions with the grid, but it isn't the same.
