GALNET - 11 FEB 3307 - Conflict Between Federal Forces and Jupiter Division

an Usurper where to bring harm to my Emperor

Technically the Emperor would have gotten away safely eventually as it turns out and only hundreds of ordinary people got killed. bribery and corruption not really meaning or counting for anything in either Fed or Imp worlds so that cancels itself out.

I think its spelled P-r-a-y-e-r ;)

We arent even getting new seats in the ships we have yet. And new ships wouldnt be stopped by the outcome of a CG anyway, just change the story....Jupiter now confined to his cell has come up with a new design...

Jupiter comes up with a new design, which a black ops rescue team at Jupiter Division uses his newly designed ship to break him out of jail!

Perfect!

Does anyone else think that The Silver Legal Group sounds like a shady law firm?

Adam Silver here with the Silver Legal Group. Have you or someone you know died from exposure to O2, H2O or any other hazardous chemical? Car crash, slip and fall, dog bite, pregnant? We'll fight for the compensation you deserve! And remember you won't pay a dime unless we win. Call today 1-866-SHY-STER.

Whichever side is winning at the time I login. Apparently only the winning side gets the permanent permit (if I'm reading the CG descriptions correctly, which I'm not entirely confident I am, lol)
You are not.

The top 75% of the winning side gets a permanent permit.
The winning side sends its megaship off to a different system, where any player can go to try and earn the permit in much the same way as we do for Sirius.

“Rochester’s responsibility for the Starship One tragedy raises many questions, especially for his powerful family. It will certainly fuel the conspiracy theory that he is a member of a covert group of powerful figures, who manipulate events to benefit the military/industrial complex.”

This to me, strongly implies he is in "The Club". Therefore, being a TDW sympathiser it especially sticks in the throat to fight for him. However, it makes me wonder if him winning is an essential (or at least very helpful) point for the unfolding story line? Especially considering the FDev promise of a potential shift of power across the whole galaxy.
