You know, I did not see "terrorist attack on superpower stations" as the way the summit was going to end. I was sure it was going to be a Thargoid megaship jumping into Sirius and wrecking everyone.
Like all good nutters they like symbolism. I say we have to view all T-9s with suspicion now.
Oh, and it should be more then obvious now that those terrorists were hiding among the refugees, so once again us Imperials can smugly say: "We told you so, but noooo, you refused to listen. And now see what it got us."
You mean the terrorists that became radicalized thanks to the Empire torturing them and stripping them of everything they had? Those imperials? So, the conference ultimately failed to achieve its crowning achievement: The Sirius-Treaty was not signed, meaning the Alliance and Sirius Corp will have to continue dealing with angry Thargoids in the Coalsack on their own.
And Theta Seven has gone completely batshit crazy.
Oh, and it should be more then obvious now that those terrorists were hiding among the refugees, so once again us Imperials can smugly say: "We told you so, but noooo, you refused to listen. And now see what it got us."
After they already blew up 4 starports (5 if you include that Fedneck one) killing hundred of thousands of innocents in the process as well as assasinated Aisling's father? You mean the terrorists that became radicalized thanks to the Empire torturing them and stripping them of everything they had? Those imperials?
Station rescues have to be one of my favourite "quick hit" activities. I play in VR and have physically ducked when a piece of gantry has dropped in front of me.Well today has been my first experience of damaged station rescues, and once again the visual and sound design have me tingling! The atmospherics of the burning starports is wonderfully done, and I especially liked the glitchy menu screens. While I know I’ll never be a ‘content creator’ because I’m much to apathetic and lazy, I’ve always wanted to have a play about with the PS4 video editing software... so here’s a shameless plug for my amateur video of my equally amateur rescue efforts. The Anaconda Oswald Cyning has been refitted to hold cabins for up to 112 souls, and I’d like to think that every one of those faceless, nameless NPCs were practically gushing with gratitude when I dropped them at the rescue ship.
And yes, I did forget that I’d switched the controls from yaw to laterals when I launched and nearly got myself jammed on a rather large chunk of debris before I made my exit...
