Ok last one: perhaps the target for placing the bomb in the Aisling aligned station was protected by a prismatic shield they couldn't break though so they had to abort.... lol

This attack was trying to hurt every superpower as much as possible as a lesson for the martyrs and to scare people away for interacting with the Duvals. So not a direct Duval attack... at least for now. Last time an attack happened, other events happened in the aftermath (Aisling's father got murdered, a bunch of systems started shouting yay marlinism which led to the marlinist colonies).

Too bad there wasn't some sort of all out effort to get this guy when his known whereabouts was in a smaller area of space.
If there was, surely it wouldn't have been undermined by greed for an engineered item.

I get the equal hurt- but the thrust of the anger is that the NMLA blame the current Duvals for their problems. I just find it interesting that they go after ALD twice, and Patty once when they could have spread the death jam over all three quite equally and thus punish all the Duvals present. It seems that the NMLA keep on going around Aisling and not actually aim at her that much....daddy dies, aunty dodges death, aunties special helper gets attacked, cousin gets shot.....

The last time Theta Seven was in a known location, it was the remains of Serene Harbour. They did launch an all-out effort to get him, and succeeded.

The problem the Empire and the other superpowers have is that someone let him out again.

Her death would be a terminal nail in the coffins of those who might bask in her name...
The terminal pouting by her followers and the salty tears of the dedicated would make oceans on a desert world...

Hmmmmmm I wonder.... perhaps this Theta Seven story will culminate to a raid of a base where he is hiding... if only we were able to land our ships and pursue this villian on foot...
