GALNET - 22 FEB 3307 - Hudson and Winters Confirmed for Galactic Summit

I feel really sorry for Jupiter's two kids. The two of them will never lose the stigma of being the offspring of a literal traitor, and to make things even worse it seems like their other father, Tomas, is disowning them. I really hope that this will backfire badly for him on the Fedneck's version of social media. (can we come up with names for a Fedneck, Imperial, Allied and Galactic version of those?)

Pushing your kids away just because your former spouse turned out to be a traitor? THAT should be a massive scandal and disqualify him from getting casted for any more movies.

Tw***er (fill as you like :) )

I'll let others go for the imp and veg guys, but will keep my one brain cell plugging away.

I'd assume they'd all just use "GALNET" But pilots fed just has the weekday topic notifications enabled for the ships. Maybe?

What if they kill all the Powerplay heads in one fell swoop and then shut down Powerplay because they don't think anyone will notice?

Seriously though, Powerplay probably makes it hard for them to kill powerplay faction heads for the sake of the story. I would assume anyone heading a faction will survive.

I have some crazy ideas about how it might go down.

I think that this is going to lead up to a Thargoid megaship popping up.
My suspicion is that Sirius is trying to provoke a Thargoid megaship into jumping in so they can study the frame shift anomaly. I think the rare good CG is being used to smuggle in Thargoid attracting items like sensors into the system under the guise of rich food and drink. The demand for rare goods to go to just one place during a CG means that it's less likely that "mislabled" rare goods end up anywhere else but the CG location. Enough of them there and not only could it attract Thargoid attention, but a massive amount of security ships could make them think it's an all out war, causing the Thargoids to jump in a megaship or two.

Sirius does have a vested interest in frame shift technology, after all. And they've already shown indifference to the deaths of innocents when they kicked the Thargoid's nest by messing with ammonia worlds in coalsack. They likely realized that didn't get the response they wanted, and saw an opportunity to up the stakes by having massive security presence in a system they're priming to be attacked by Thargoids in the upcoming summit, which would explain why they felt the need to step in and take over hosting it.

As for important character deaths, I've no clue.
