GALNET - Mysterious Phenomenon Triggers Violent Attacks - 26 OCT 3309

Precisely. Gravity manipulation could do that. Very hypothetical, of course. Then again, thargs seem to have reactionless drives and graviitics seem to be the best bet for solving that little problem. Frame shift drives already bend spacetime, albeit in a quite crude way.

Dissipation is the problem. The BH eating everything around them, not so much. Feeding a micro black hole is more difficult than it seems; their event horizons have diameters way smaller than atoms ( eg, around 3e-6 pm for a BH that masses 1 000 000 ton and 3e-8 pm for a 10 000 ton BH; an hydrogen atom has a diameter of around 74 pm). Quite hard to keep a micro BH well-fed so it doesn't evaporate very energetically due to Hawking radiation.
Well, alright then. I guess they’re just making neutron star bombs down there.

Jokes aside, and as interesting of a thought as it may be, I favor the idea that there’s just a gigantic sub-surface structure underneath the spires(and that they haven’t all yet surfaced fully), to explain all of that mass.

What will it be? Who knows. Probably not good, though.

Well, it could be a Thargoid super weapon, to destroy entire star systems, and it could be ready when all the spikes grow out of the ground, full size, and form a regular ring.

And we will then, for the salvation of humanity, have to find the key to the Guardian site in Wregoe BU-Y b2-0, in order to activate the Guardian super-weapon or their AI, and then let them thrash to their heart's content.

But first we have to kill all the Gray Swan pilots, who are innocent, and luckily we can't find them for now!

Or, maybe they'll form a giant robot. There are at least five of these things, correct?

Looks to be five [that are currently visible], from a screenshot of mine. Well, four spires in decreasing size, and the original spear roots where there is no spire currently visible beneath them.

They are definitely arranged in some kind of pattern, but can’t say it remind me of a circle. And I don’t think we’ll see a Thargoid Reaper knockoff.

So is this just convenient narrative around the bug that appeared after the latest update where ships fire on each other during the initial encounter/scan? Seems like it. Is it now a feature?

Ninja.
I really hope not. I have zero patience for the mentally unstable.
