Sorry, just noticed the date on that. It's from June 26, 3303. No idea why it's showing news from years ago.
Regardless, if something like this comes up in the news feed, is it something that's worth looking into?

Not everything on the local news feeds is, but generally yes, they're rare enough to be worth following up even if they're old. You might at least find something new to you.
